We also have offices across the UK in Ipswich, Cambridge, Milton Keynes, Northampton, and Walsall, and welcome applications from candidates within easy commuting distance of any of these locations, as well as those seeking fully remote opportunities.

We're looking for a Candidate Onboarding Partner to join our Candidate Onboarding team at Opus People Solutions.

This role owns the end-to-end onboarding journey for both direct candidates and those supplied via our agency partners, ensuring everyone is compliant, ready to start, and supported throughout the process.

If you're organised, proactive, and enjoy working with people (and keeping things moving), this could be a great fit.

    What you'll be doing:

    • Managing onboarding from offer through to start date for direct and agency-supplied workers

    • Completing and tracking Right to Work, DBS, references, safeguarding checks, mandatory training and declarations

    • Acting as a key point of contact for agency supplier partners, working collaboratively to resolve queries, chase outstanding checks and keep onboarding on track

    • Keeping candidates informed and reassured through regular phone and email contact

    • Working closely with recruiters, candidate management and supplier partners to ensure smooth handovers

    • Spotting and resolving blockers to avoid delays to start dates

    • Maintaining accurate, audit-ready compliance records at all times

    What we're looking for:

    • Experience in onboarding, compliance, recruitment or a similar operational role

    • Confidence working with external suppliers or agency partners

    • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple onboarding cases

    • Clear, professional communicator with a people-first approach

    • Comfortable working remotely and managing your own workload

    Why Opus?

    • Flexible remote / hybrid working

    • 25 Days Holiday, plus bank holidays + ability to buy an extra 5 days

    • Supportive, people-led culture

    • Strong team support and room to develop
