    Role Purpose

    In this role, you'll play a key part in maintaining a strong administrative foundation for our Partnerships Directorate.  Day-to-day, you will be taking a lead on our Directorate administration – helping to achieve our goals by enabling the effective running of the Directorate: from involvement in comms, coordinating events to managing our financial processes, with a great opportunity to develop, this role lies at the heart of our team and all we do.

    Skills & Experience

    Essential

    • Experience of working in an office administration environment.

    • Proven ability to take responsibility for themselves and their workload, and a willingness to ask questions and for help when needed.

    • Strong organisational skills with proven ability to prioritise work.

    • Intermediate MS Office skills including Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel.

    • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate to a diverse audience and develop effective working relationships.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focused eye for detail and accuracy.

    • Proven ability to work as part of a team and make positive contributions to the team’s overall performance.

    • Ability to work flexibly on occasion to meet business and team needs.

    Desirable

    • Previous experience of working in a customer service orientated environment.

    • Experience of developing administrative systems and seeking efficient processes.

    • Previous experience of working with another grant maker, arm’s length body or in any of the public/voluntary charity sectors.

    • Previous experience of working in a sports environment/desire to develop a career in sport.

    • Advanced MS Office skills.

    • Proven ability to operate shared database applications, for example SmartSheet.
