Location: This is a permanent role working remotely with requirement to travel to prospect meetings nationally and internal meetings so a full, clean driving licence and car is required. While this role is remote and can be home based, we would expect the successful applicant to travel into Oxford for face-to-face team meetings every 5 weeks, and most of our existing business is in the south east.

Salary: £25,000.00 - £27,000.00 Per Annum

Activate Business School has an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Executive who is able to self-generate new opportunities using various prospecting techniques. The focus is to build a pipeline of new business prospects to secure new clients. The types of companies you will be working with are Education establishments, SME’s and blue-chip organisations across all sectors.
This is consultative selling, where you will be tailoring our range of bespoke training solutions from both our Educator Academy and Business School to meet the client’s needs and requirements.
.As well as building these relationships, you'll be ensuring our service standards, processes and procedures are adhered to, and that our KPIs are being hit. With the potential for growth in this business area, you'll be identifying cross selling opportunities so both you and the team can maximise revenue and achieve/exceed targets.

What do you need to be successful as a Business Development Executive at Activate Business School?
This ideal candidate is someone with experience in sales who's worked in a target driven environment and who would like to continue developing their skills in consultative selling.
You will be passionate about generating new business and opening doors to selling our portfolio of products. You'll be able to challenge others in a positive manner, with the communication skills to encourage continuous improvement and create and implement evidence-based decisions.
About you:
Experience in a target driven environment
Proactive, self-motivated and driven
Good communication and listening skills
Ability to quickly learn about our products and services
Excellent IT skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Able to work collaboratively with colleagues, stakeholders and external partners at all levels
It would be highly desirable to have experience in sales, whether it's b2b, recruitment or services
You will also have a solution-focused, innovative approach to work, with the ability to think outside the box and will benefit from being part of a supportive team, working in a varied and interesting role with a variety of opportunities for career development.
