Recruitment Agency: INNOVATIVE TECH PEOPLE LTD
Location: UK Fully remote
Salary: From £70,000 to £95,000 per annum
-
Innovative Tech People is partnering with a respected Microsoft Partner to find a Data Architect who will own the design of modern data integration, warehousing and reporting solutions for their clients. This is a fully remote role, ideal for someone who has grown with the Microsoft data stack from SQL and SSIS through to today’s Azure services, and who now wants to set the technical direction.
What you’ll be doing
Defining the data architecture for client solutions across integration, warehousing and reporting
Designing integration patterns using Azure Integration Services such as Logic Apps, Service Bus, Azure Functions and Azure Data Factory
Architecting data warehouse and reporting layers across Azure and Power BI
Leading solution evaluation with clients, including when Microsoft Fabric is the right choice versus individual Azure components
Setting standards and best practice, and providing technical guidance to delivery teams
Acting as the senior technical voice with clients and stakeholders, including during presales and solution design workshops
Working closely with Dynamics 365 and wider Microsoft project teams on integration and data strategy
What you’ll bring
A strong background in SQL and data integration, ideally with SSIS and KingswaySoft
Recent experience designing data integration and warehousing solutions with Microsoft’s modern Azure tools
Proven experience architecting data warehouse, integration and reporting solutions with Azure and Power BI
The ability to assess client requirements and recommend the best fit solution with clear reasoning
Confident client facing communication, with the ability to explain architectural decisions to both technical and business audiences
Nice to have
Microsoft Fabric experience. If you have architected the equivalent using Azure and Power BI, that is just as valuable, as long as you can explain why you would choose Fabric over separate Azure components in certain scenarios and how you would evaluate the right solution
Why apply?
Fully remote working
A Microsoft Partner with a strong data and Dynamics 365 client base
A senior role with real influence over technical direction
Variety of client projects across modern Azure and Fabric technologies
