The Administration Support Officer will provide efficient and well-ordered administrative support to the National Programmes team colleagues and day-to-day operations of the programmes. The National Programmes Team operates within the Youth Impact domain of The Children's Society and leads a portfolio of programmes to support the wellbeing of children and young people.
Your tasks will include:
Support the development and maintenance of comprehensive administration systems.
Support National Programme Managers and/or Service Managers with the collation and analysis of data for funder/organisational reports and audits.
Work in partnership with colleagues and professionals to ensure quality standards are evident in all aspects of work with children and young people.
Skills and Experiences:
Essential
The ability to prioritise and manage own workload, adapting to new systems and software.
Advanced IT skills, particularly in Microsoft packages including word processing, spreadsheets, PowerPoint and outlook
Clear and effective communication skills with the ability to liaise with managers and staff at all levels both internally and externally.
Previous experience of working in an administrative position in a paid or voluntary capacity.
Desirable
A previous role in the charity sector supporting with administration.
Experience in working or volunteering for an organisation that supports children or young people.
