Administrative Officer
Salary: £24,546.32 - £25,800 per annum pro rata.
Location: Northampton – This is a hybrid role mainly working from home, but you will be expected to attend the service at least once a week.
Contract/Hours: Permanent Part-Time 20 hours per week we can be flexible on hrs worked but need to be between Mon – Fri 9am – 5pm.

A bit about the role:
We are looking for a dedicated Administrative Officer to join our team.
You’ll play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of our services, ensuring that all administrative tasks are handled efficiently and with attention to detail.
You will support the staff team in maintaining files and records, ensuring that information is kept up-to-date and raising awareness of any updates required. you will be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks. Strong literacy and spoken communication skills are essential as you will be interacting with staff, agency workers and stakeholders to ensure clear and effective information flow.
About the services
Northampton family Support Service helps Children aged 0-18years and their families lead a happier and more supported life.
We support parents with appropriate and consistent parenting skills.
We assist Young People/Parents/Carers 1:1 with behaviour, emotional and wellbeing/mental health strategies and can advise on school attendance issues, protective behaviours, family relationships and communication.
How you will help to create brighter futures.
Some key responsibilities for the role as Administrative Officer are.
Coordination of petty cash for the services
Administrative support to the management team; this will include diary management, arranging meetings and general admin tasks.
Collating and updating records on a monthly/quarterly basis.
Admin support
Work as part of the business support team, supporting colleagues with their allocated tasks and responsibilities.
Let's talk about you
Minimum of Business Administration S/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent relevant qualification or work experience
Experience of using computers through a business network running MS Windows and Office applications, email and the Internet.
Confident with figures and applying literacy skills, to communicate effectively with a range of individuals/teams.
Confident and effective with both written and verbal communication, including to prepare and present reports.
