Salary: £28,884 - £31,698 FTE per annum (£23419.46 - £25,701.08 pro rata per annum), plus £480 home-based allowance FTE per annum

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a successful service in Northamptonshire and drive the service forward offering a population-based approach offering universal parenting support and targeted interventions to support families in need e.g. those with mild-moderate mental health issues and parent-infant relationship difficulties. The service will provide: early parenting and child-parent relationship support for mothers, fathers and co-parents with a child(ren) aged under two; support through evidence-based parenting programmes and antenatal groups; targeted parent-infant interventions and peer support; and safe spaces for all families to come together in the community to access universal support for birth and beyond, supporting parents to feel more confident in their transition to new parenthood and their ability to care for their child(ren).
Main Responsibilities:
• To support the OM with the planning, day-to-day management and delivery of the service, ensuring all KPIs are met and groups are delivered to timescales agreed with funders.
• Be integral in raising the profile of the service, and to establish a rolling programme of service delivery in the communities
• Build established networks and collaborative partnerships with statutory and voluntary mental health services, and attend Steering Group and other meetings and events as required to help ensure service users receive co-ordinated help and support
Main Requirements (for details check the job description and person specification):
• Demonstrable experience of working with pregnant and new parents with mild to moderate diagnosed mental health issues or who are at risk of developing mental health issues; and/or of working in an Early Years setting
• Experience of managing a service, including staff management
• Knowledge of child and adult Safeguarding protocols and procedures, and ability to assess risk and manage appropriate response to concerns
• Appointments are subject to Family Action receiving a satisfactory disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service – ENHANCED
