Role Purpose - Homebased/Occasional Travel, salary negotiable based on experience
The Universities Liaison Officer will be the key point of contact between PAM Wellness and higher education institutions. This role strengthens partnerships, grows referral pathways, and improves awareness of our neurodiversity, DSA, wellbeing, and coaching services.
The postholder will help universities enhance their disability support provision by connecting them with high‑quality assessment services, assistive technologies, specialist coaching, adjustment support, and digital tools.
This role is ideal for someone with strong knowledge of the education sector, experience in disability services, and a passion for improving outcomes for neurodivergent students.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship Management
Build, maintain, and expand strong relationships with universities, disability teams, wellbeing services, student support hubs, and academic departments.
Serve as the primary point of contact for HE institutions using PAM Wellness services.
Develop strategic engagement plans for priority universities.
Promotion of DSA & Student Support Services
Promote PAM Wellness neurodiversity assessments and specialist 1:1 coaching for DSA and student populations.
Provide guidance to universities on DSA processes, assessment quality, funding routes, and student eligibility.
Deliver informational sessions, webinars, and presentations to university partners about PAM services and pathways.
Growth & Outreach
Identify new opportunities for partnership in the HE sector.
Support the development of university‑specific service packages.
Lead outreach campaigns aligned with academic calendars and sector events.
Operational Collaboration
Work closely with neurodiversity assessors, coaching teams, clinicians, and administrative staff to ensure high‑quality service delivery.
Provide feedback from university partners to support continuous improvement of PAM Wellness products, training programs, and digital tools.
Assist with onboarding new university clients and supporting integration with PAM systems.
Training & Awareness
Coordinate or deliver training on neurodiversity, inclusive teaching, reasonable adjustments, DSA understanding, mental health considerations, and transitions to work.
Support universities in embedding neuroinclusive approaches across staff groups.
Data, Reporting & Compliance
Monitor engagement levels, referral data, service utilisation, and satisfaction trends.
Maintain accurate records and ensure GDPR‑aligned communication.
Support HE partners in meeting compliance obligations relating to disability provision.
Essential Experience & Skills
Strong background in the education sector, particularly within higher education.
Experience as a DSA Needs Assessor OR deep understanding of DSA processes, disabled student support, and inclusive learning practices.
Demonstrable experience supporting or liaising with university disability services.
Existing, notable relationships with UK universities (advantageous).
Understanding of neurodiversity, disability legislation, reasonable adjustments, and inclusive practice.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and travel when required.
Confident in using digital systems; familiarity with accessibility software beneficial.
Desirable
Experience in neurodiversity coaching or working with neurodivergent learners.
Familiarity with PAM Wellness services, reporting tools, or wellbeing platforms.
Understanding of student transitions into employment and workplace adjustment processes.
Experience delivering training or workshops.
