The OpportunityWe're looking for a detail-oriented and curious graduate to join Vable in a varied role spanning finance, operations, and legal administration. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to gain broad business experience while working directly with the CEO.
You'll learn financial management fundamentals, take ownership of contract management, and support the InfoSec team with compliance and risk management. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on variety, has exceptional attention to detail, and wants to learn and grow into additional responsibilities.
What You’ll Be Doing (Day to Day)Legal & Contract Administration
Manage all client and supplier contracts through their lifecycle
Review and finalise standard contracts
Maintain organised contract repository with key dates, obligations, and renewal tracking
Coordinate with external legal counsel when needed
Policy & Compliance Management
Support Head of InfoSec with information security documentation and compliance
Coordinate policy reviews, approvals, and implementation across the organisation
Conduct supplier risk assessments and audits for key high-risk suppliers
Maintain current copies of supplier certifications, security credentials (2FA, etc.), and DPAs
Operations & Process Improvement
Assist with building and maintaining dashboards
Manage KPIs on behalf of various departments
Support teams with documentation, cost tracking, and budget management
Create and maintain process documentation
Finance Operations
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, invoicing, and expense processing in Xero
Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
Assist in preparation of monthly financial reports and analysis
Support budget tracking and financial forecasting
Coordinate with external accountants for year-end accounts and tax filings
What you’ll bringEssential
Degree level education with strong academic performance
Relevant experience in finance, operations, legal, consulting, or related fields (including internships or training contracts)
Advanced proficiency in spreadsheets and document software
Skilled in working with cloud-based systems
Exceptional attention to detail
Fast learner eager to pick up new skills across multiple functions
Self-directed and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Excellent written communication
Intellectually curious with genuine desire to learn
Highly Desirable
Law qualification (LLB, GDL, LPC, or SQE)
MBA from a UK business school
Finance or accounting degree or professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
Professional qualifications in compliance, risk management, or information security
Experience with Xero or similar cloud accounting software
Experience with contract management or legal documentation
