Events and Communications Officer

Working hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £29,959.71 Per Annum

    The Communications and Events Officer will be responsible for organising group-wide events, both remote and face-to-face, including developing event material and supporting the marketing and communications team with developing content and marketing collateral where required.

    Applications will be shortlisted on receipt and interviews will be held on the 17th July via Microsoft teams. The closing date of this role may close early depending on volume of applications.

    About the role 

    Your main duties will include: 

    • Leading the development of the organisation’s event strategy. Agreeing objectives and success measures

    • Planning and delivery of all external and owned events taking account of venues, materials, speakers, content, reviews, budget, timelines, etc

    • Managing event collateral. Posting out as necessary and organising returns

    • Post-event evaluation and producing report for stakeholders

    About you

    The successful applicant will have: 

    • Must have worked in a communications, events, or other similar field, or have relevant experience.

    • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a sound grasp of grammar.

    • Able to work flexibly and to respond effectively to changes in the workload

    • Experience of having worked within a large, complex, and multi-site organisation
